Today, we’re celebrating the 100th day of school!

This is us, 100 years old!

We are working in groups to write 100 words!

Today was library day and we were so glad to be back! Mrs. Elder said our class was being so good that we earned going to the tree house to read! This was so much fun! We listened to a great groundhog story and then (if we wanted to) went down the slide!

Happy New Year to everyone! We’ve had a great start to 2017! Everyone came in like CHAMPS and found their new desk. Then we had five students go down to do announcements (everyone else will have a turn this month). We’re currently working on our New Years Resolutions with 2 goals that we have for school and 2 goals we have for outside of school. Ask your child what some of their goals are and let’s help push them in the right direction!

Thank you Ashley for a great Grinch themed Christmas Party and all the other wonderful parents who brought goodies and helped out!! Y’all are awesome!

I’m so thankful for my students, each and everyone of them! My parents are so great too! I wish y’all a very Merry Christmas and I will see you in the New Year!!

Yesterday was filled with lots of excitement! We got to watch the HS band perform fun Christmas songs that we all got to sing along with and they did an amazing job! We watched the movie Polar Express and enjoyed some nice, warm hot cocoa. Then we had a special 7th grader come read a Christmas book to our class!

We’re looking forward to our Party this Friday at 9:00 as well!  Hope to see everyone there- and if you can’t make it, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!

Our turkey is turning out to be a show stopper!  Look at all the beautiful and creative feathers from our class!
